This is volume one of the collection of voyages to the North, and the most important volume relative to Arctic interests as it contains the account of La Mothe Le Vayer of Iceland, La Peyrere’s account of Greenland, and Martin
Frobisher’s Three Voyages. Included are a large folding map of the Arctic, a map of Iceland, and a map of Greenland along with the engraving showing Eskimo kayak, Greenland natives and illustrations of the Narwal.
